Hans Baldung Grien, The Mass of Saint Gregory, The Cleveland Museum of Art, 1511O Sacrum Convivium, Communion anthem for choral Eucharist this coming Sunday, September 19, is a Latin prose text honoring the Blessed Sacrament. It was written by [attributed to] Saint Thomas Aquinas. It was included in the Latin Catholic liturgy as an antiphon on the feast of Corpus Christi. Its sentiments express the profound mystery of the Eucharistic miracle [Wikipedia].
