Joseph Jongen, the composer of both organ voluntaries at evensong this coming Sunday, is celebrated for his renowned Symphony Concertante for organ and orchestra, Op. 81. A version by Patrick Wedd and the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra, Mario Bernardi conducting, is available for free online listening by both the Naxos Music Library and the Classical Music Library.
