The organ voluntaries for evensong this coming Sunday, February 16, are by Olivier Messiaen from his Livre d’orgue (1951): Reprises by Intervention and Chants d'oiseaux.
This coming Friday, February 12, at Redpath Hall of McGill University (Entrance by the McTavish Gates off the rue McTavish pedestrian walk) at 12:30 pm as part of the McGill noon-hour organ series, at The Wolff organ, Adrian Foster, assistant organist at Christ Church Cathedral, will perform the entire Livre d’orgue.
