The celebrated extended performance of Organ2/ASLSP is being performed in Halberstadt, Germany. The performance began on September 5, 2001, Cage’s 89 birthday, and is projected to last 639 years (info). The current sound began on October 5, 2013, and will last until 2020. This sound began during the Christ Church Cathedral performance 16 minutes and 51 seconds into the performance and lasted until 36 minutes and 40 seconds.
